The Library and Information Centre (LIC) of the Harokopio University of Athens serves the members of the academic community of the University while is open to any other external user/s. LIC is located on the last floor of the Library Building in the main campus area (El.venizelou 70, Kallithea) and operates from 8 am-8 pm.
LIC has a variety of collections (print and digital) such as books, journals, maps, reference material etc. and provides a range of onsite services such as a comfortable and quiet reading room, computers to use, lockers, Selfcheck, wi-fi, and electronic services such as OPAC, Institutional Repository “ESTIA”, electronic resources via HEAL Link -the collaborative Consortium of Academic Libraries-, Turnitin (plagiarism detection system), interlibrary loan, information literacy programmes, etc., to the academic community.
In order to be a member of LIC you’ll have to sustain a valid academic card and register at the Library (see the application form below)
Access to electronic resources is possible through the university network when you are on campus.
